Angus Jaffray

Oil on Canvas 24" x 36"

Angus was the caretaker of the cemetery at Port Stanley. I painted him wearing the coat and hat he wore when he dug a new grave. When I borrowed them for this painting, he joked that he would have to come get them if anyone died. He was also a champion darts player and once warned me that if I beat him, he would bury me.
